The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and executing a marketing and communications strategy that elevates the visibility, reputation, and impact of the nonprofit. This role drives storytelling, media coverage, and brand recognition across local, regional, and national markets, positioning the organization as a leader in its field.
The Director will also play a critical role in supporting fundraising initiatives and events, creating campaigns and communication strategies that strengthen donor and board engagement, corporate partnerships, and philanthropic investment.
In addition to developing a brand's image and maintaining the desired public perception of that brand as part of the organization’s marketing strategy, the Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for expanding the brand to new audiences. This includes ensuring other business activities and executive initiatives align with the brand image as well as modifying the brand to reposition the organization within its respective industry space.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7–10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or media relations, with a strong record of securing high-profile media coverage.
Demonstrated success in placing stories across print, online, and broadcast media outlets.
Proven ability to craft and pitch compelling narratives that resonate with journalists, donors, and the public.
Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising campaigns and events with creative communications strategies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Leadership and team management experience.

The Director of Development leads Son of a Saint’s fundraising and strategic growth efforts, including setting overarching goals and annual plans for fundraising, managing the development team, overseeing the implementation of all major fundraising activities, cultivating and soliciting major gifts, and ensuring that monthly and annual fundraising goals are met. The Director of Development is responsible for overseeing a team of fundraising professionals to raise funds for Son of a Saint’s annual operating budget and for special projects and campaigns, as needed. The Director of Development provides input and guidance on projects related to the strategic growth and development of Son of a Saint, including strategic planning, national awareness building, growth planning, and other activities related to the growth of Son of a Saint.
Qualifications and Skills
BA or BS degree, Masters is a Plus
10 years experience in nonprofit fundraising; 3-5 years of experience managing and leading a team
Proven track record of managing a multi-million revenue goal
Proven track record of soliciting and securing six- and seven-figure gifts
Experience with federal and state grants a plus
Proven ability to manage projects independently
Proactive and consistent work ethic
Professional demeanor and conduct
Advanced understanding of fundraising operations, strategy, communication, and landscape
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to analyze written materials, and meet multiple deadlines.

The Senior Case Manager serves as a liaison between the case management team and the Director of Programs. The senior case manager has the knowledge and skills to provide holistic support for families and establish high-impact mentee-mentor relationships. They lead the case management team using this expertise. The senior case manager proactively collaborates with other staff members and community partners to capitalize on meaningful opportunities for mentees and families. They are analytical in their approach, creating and adjusting systems to better serve mentees and families.
Education & Experience
MSW Degree in social work and LCSW certification required.
Experience: 5 years’ experience working with youth preferred; case management experience preferred
Experience supervising interns and other team members
Driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Experience working with middle school and/or high school students, incorporating cross-cultural competency to support and challenge them appropriately
Experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of fundraising events that drive donor engagement, community awareness, and revenue growth. This role is essential to strengthening Son of a Saint’s mission through high-impact events that inspire giving and foster long-term relationships with supporters.
Skills & Qualifications
BA or BS degree
3–5 years of experience managing fundraising or large-scale events, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
Experience processing donations and managing donor/gift data in a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
